One bloody night fourteen years ago, House Montague(Romeo's House) staged a coup against the Capulets (Juliet's House), the rulers of the floating city of Neo Verona. Despite their best efforts to exterminate the Capulet line, one young girl, Juliet, managed to survive along with a handful of family retainers.

Since that night, Juliet has lived her life masquerading as a man, hidden away from the Montagues by the playwright William Shakespeare. Only two years-old at the time of the coup, she has since been raised in ignorance of her heritage. All this is done to protect her from House Montague which continues to search for her to this day.

On the eve of her sixteenth birthday, the day when all secrets are to be revealed to her, Fate takes a hand and crosses her path with that of Romeo, heir of House Montague.

So begins this timeless tale of love and tragedy.
